Devil’s Lake Elopement // Baraboo, WI // Tori + Michael
Tori and Michael knew they wanted a small wedding. They didn’t want anything big or over the top. They wanted to elope. But they wanted their immediate family to be part of it too. Luckily they didn’t have to travel to Colorado or Washington to get the elopement they wanted! Devils Lake in Baraboo made the absolute perfect backdrop for their intimate wedding. And they got a perfectly foggy overcast day to top it off.
It was drizzly and foggy at Devils Lake this day but it was giving big PNW vibes. Which was perfect for this little elopement. Another perk to the “not perfect” weather is that the south shore where they had their ceremony and we did most of our pictures was not busy at all.
I mean come on?! I wish more people realized that you don’t need to travel hundreds and hundreds of miles for a gorgeous nature inspired elopement. Wisconsin has so many great spots for adventure style elopements. So if you’re thinking about ditching the big wedding and going intimate, let me know and I’ll help you find the perfect spot in Wisconsin.
Tori’s dress was jaw dropping and we had so much fun with it.
Michael’s green suit and bow tie were pretty amazing too! Grooms- you deserve a kick ass outfit too!
I love love love the forests at Devil’s Lake. Something about it makes me feel like I stepped directly into Middle Earth.
We hiked up to this little cliff that overlooks most of Devil’s Lake and it was well worth the sweat and shortness of breath.
Michael and Tori’s ceremony was intimate and thoughtful and they were surrounded by their immediate family. It was beautiful and a great alternative to a giant wedding ceremony.
