Rainy Pfiffner Park Wedding // Stevens Point, WI // Kelly + Travis
Kelly and Travis got married on a rainy day in September at Pfiffner Park in Stevens Point. We had to adjust and change plans multiple times throughout the day due to the weather. But I think everything turned out exactly how it was supposed to. Everything was absolutely gorgeous and it was cozy and laid back and perfect in every way.
I mean just take a look at these details!!! The Dizzy Donkey and Inspired by Nature did an amazing job setting up and the creating the most beautiful floral arrangements. I have nothing but amazing things to say about both of these women. If you are getting married and looking for vendors I can not recommend them enough!
Originally Kelly was going to get dressed at the hotel and then head to a different park for the first look. But with all the rain we changed things up and she got dressed at Pfiffner Park in the pavilion. We adapted and look at how freaking moody and gorgeous these getting ready pics are?!
When I say it was raining, I don’t mean a sprinkle. It was downright pouring! Luckily the pavilion at Pfiffner Park was decorated beautifully and has big doors. So I was able to stand in the rain outside while Kelly and Travis stood inside. With the doors open we had so much yummy light still hitting them, but they stayed dry.
This freaking hallway again!!! I could NOT get enough of it. That moody light. That exposed brick. All of it is amazing.
Kelly and Travis rented this beautiful round white tent for their ceremony so we didn’t have to change the location of the ceremony. And it was absolutely perfect!
Look at how cute their facial expressions are!!!! Such a sweet ceremony!
Kelly holding her father’s handkerchief. She was able to keep a piece of him close all day.
Have you ever seen a more gorgeous head table?? I am still in complete shock that Kelly and Travis were able to transform the pavilion at Pfiffner Park into something so glamorous.
Pie instead of cake for dessert??? Yes please!
After raining all day long we got the most glorious sunset. These are basically straight out of the camera. I sharpened them a little bit and adjusted the exposure but otherwise that’s all nature babyyyy.
I love this little black and white series of Kelly and Travis strolling around the park. It’s always a good idea to take a little break from your reception and get a few more pics and have a little time to relax together.
If anyone can guess what song Travis is singing to Kelly, I’ll give you special prize!
I absolutely love when my clients just let me experiment. Kelly and Travis let me pull them away again for a few minutes to play with the light from the reception and some umbrellas.
