Ridgewood Campground Wedding // Plover, WI // Lauren + Garrett

Lauren and Garrett got married on the Wisconsin River at the Ridgewood Campground. The Wisconsin River is where these two have shared countless memories and were a meaningful part of their relationship. The were one of the many couples who had to reschedule their day due to covid. And while we were waiting to celebrate their love, they welcomed the most perfect baby boy in their lives. I got to stand up in AND photograph this wedding which is the biggest honor of all time.

There is just something so magical about outdoor weddings. This one was especially beautiful with the Wisconsin River as the backdrop and strung lights illuminating the trees all around.

Of course baby Atticus had to be included in Lauren and Garrett’s first look!

I always always always try to encourage wedding guests to get a quick photo with their significant other! You’re all dressed up and there is a professional photographer there anyway! So you might as well get some gorgeous updated pictures!

Lauren and Garrett opted to have the SandBar as their own personal bar for the wedding! Which was so fitting and SO FUN!

Right before the ceremony Lauren, her dad, and I took a little cruise on their pontoon boat. It was such a nice little break before all of the commotion of the wedding day. Lauren and her dad got a few moments alone and we all got to breath a little and enjoy the gorgeous river.

Lauren’s brother, Jack, was in a car accident years ago. It has been a long journey for him and his family. He worked so hard to be able to walk Lauren down the aisle for her wedding.

Ceremonies do NOT have to be boring or traditional! Lauren and Garrett’s friend officiated their wedding and they had wonderful readings by their friends and family members to make it personal.

You might remember these guys from Mac and Elle’s wedding. They are amazing cooks and always do an awesome job catering wedding reception. Give me a build your own burger bar every time!
