Rock n Roll Anniversary Session // Wisconsin Rapids, WI // Jon + Jade

Being a professional photographer is both amazing and exhausting. After months of shooting weddings and couples, it’s really easy to go into auto mode during shoots. And it’s really easy to feel burnt out and uninspired. Luckily being your own boss means you make your own rules and your own schedule. So when Jade and I started talking and she said her and her hubby, Jon, were going to be in town I practically begged her to let me play around and photograph them just for fun. So we drank PBR and blasted music and ran around in the cold and made some of my favorite photos of all time.

Honestly this was exactly what I needed. It got me excited again. And then during November (aka the month from hell) I got to look through these and edit them and they put a giant stupid smile on my face every time. So thanks Jade and Jon for being amazing and ridiculously fun human beings! xoxo
