Chestnut Center for the Arts Wedding // Marshfield, WI // Katie + Aaron
Katie and Aaron had one of the most beautiful, heartfelt, and fun weddings Iβve ever photographed. Their ceremony had the Jurassic Park theme song, paper airplanes, Christmas trees, and some of the best vows. The best days are when I feel like Iβm just a guest at the wedding that just happens to have a camera. Katie and Aaron make that pretty easy.
When Katie and Aaron were first getting to know each other, they were just friends who studied together. Aaron would write Katie notes and fold them up into paper airplanes. So on their wedding day it only made sense that Aaron would fold his letter into a paper airplane.
I really enjoy a bride who can rock the most gorgeous gown ever with cat socks and white vans.
Remember that whole paper airplane story? Yeah.. for their unity ceremony they took a copy of their vows and folded them into an airplane together!
The Chestnut Center was a freaking dream come true for shooting. All the beautiful vintage details and the stain glass windows⦠Holy shit! And these two gave me as much time as I wanted for portraits so it was a gooooood.
These guys ran around the cold with zero complaints and looked damn good doing it. Have you ever seen a more babe couple?!?!
I am always down for bar hopping with the wedding party. Pull tabs, snacks, shots? Count me in.
Shout out to the guy at the rotary lights at the Wildwood Park in Marshfield who let us sneak in early before everyone else to take photos. We owe ya one!
Katie and Aaron- you guys are the best. You are both so thoughtful, warm, funny, and easy going. Thank you for letting us crash your wedding and take one thousand pictures of you. Letβs hang out and watch Queer Eye soon. K thanks! xoxo
